Meeting Minutes
February 6, 2017
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman John Robertson in the Little Town Hall.
Members Present: John Robertson, Michael Genest, Robert L. Edwards
Staff Present: Donna Hanson
Agenda Items:
- Mr. Edwards moved to approve the minutes of January 30, 2017. Mr. Genest seconded. Passed 3/0.
- Mr. Genest moved to approve the non-public minutes of January 30, 2017. Mr. Edwards seconded. Passed 3/0.
- The preliminary budget was reviewed. It was decided that Mr. Edwards would discuss the Elevator, Grove Street Bridge, and Police Cruiser warrant articles at the budget hearing. Mr. Genest will discuss the West Street Bridge, LED Street Lighting, Veterans Credit and Mr. Robertson will discuss the Capital Reserves warrant articles.
- Mr. Robertson gave a summary of the Planning Board meeting he attended and Mr. Edwards gave a summary of the Water & Sewer Commissioners meeting he attended.
- Other Business:
- The Limrik article written by John Robertson was reviewed.
- Mr. Edwards moved to support the 2017 Conval School budget. Mr. Robertson seconded. Passed 3/0.
- Peter Holden of Holden Engineers would like to extend the deadline for the completion of Highland Ave/Pleasant St project in anticipation of more bids coming in at a lower cost. Mr. Genest suggested checking with Road Agent Jim Plourde before making a decision.
- Mr. Robertson moved to go into non-public session under RSA 91-A:3 II (c) application for assistance. Mr. Edwards seconded. Passed 3/0
- A property tax payment plan was approved for property located at 6 Reed Carr Road owned by Mr. Kenneth Skrable.
- Mr. Robertson moved to come out of non-public session . Mr. Genest seconded. Passed 3/0
After no further business Mr. Robertson moved to adjourn at 8:35 p.m. Mr. Genest seconded. Passed 3/0
